This workshop will cover the basics of fusion 360, a CAD tool that can be used for creating 3D designs. In this beginner-friendly drop-in session, you will get a chance to design something small yourself, and send it to one of our 3D printers. Stay for as little or as long as you'd like. Come laser-cut your own set of business cards! We have plenty of colorful card stock options to choose from, and trained staff who will help you create your own design and laser engrave/cut it. Stay for as little or as long as you'd like!

Bring in a glass, something wooden, or made of paper, and we will show you how to engrave it! Our staff will consult with you on your project, assist you in creating your own design, and help you operate our laser cutter. All we ask is that you email us (makerspace@smcvt.edu) ahead of time, so we can ensure the material you bring in is laser-safe! Material can't be bigger than 12"x24".
