Each year, Saint Michael鈥檚 College honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and his vision of Beloved Community through programming, activities, and music. The theme of our 2026 convocation is The World House: the Interrelatedness of All Things, inspired by the last book written by Dr. King: Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? Dr. King envisioned the world as one home in which 鈥渨e must learn somehow to live with each other in peace.” The 2026 MLK, Jr. Convocation programming will focus on race and environmental justice in our world house.
