An All‑America selection as both a junior and senior\, he helped lead Saint Michael’s to a fourth‑place national finish and two trips to the Sweet 16\, before being selected in the 10th round of the 1967 NBA Draft by the St. Louis Hawks. \nBeyond his collegiate success\, Falkenbush devoted four decades to teaching and 35 years to coaching\, including serving as the first varsity boys’ basketball head coach at Colchester High School and compiling 276 wins in 21 seasons at Burlington High School\, highlighted by the 1995–96 Division I state title.
