Fr. David Theroux Vice President of Edmundite Mission
Bio
As Vice President of Edmundite Mission, Fr. Theroux, SSE oversees Campus Ministry, Mobilization of Volunteer Efforts (MOVE), the Institute for Equity and Justice, and the two Edmundite centers, the Edmundite for Faith and Culture and the Edmundite Center for Peace and Justice. He also serves on President Plumb鈥檚 Cabinet.
Fr. David Theroux graduated from Saint Michael鈥檚 College in 1970, and he was ordained to the priesthood four years later. In addition to his undergraduate degree from Saint Michael鈥檚, Fr. Theroux holds a Master of Divinity from the University of St. Michael鈥檚 College at the University of Toronto in Canada (1975), a Master鈥檚 degree in Religious Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans (2000), and a Doctor of Education from the University of Phoenix in Arizona (2017).听
Fr. Theroux has held both pastoral and teaching positions at Saint Michael鈥檚 College and throughout the U.S. and in England, including South Burlington, Vermont; Whitton, England; Mobile, Alabama; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Mystic, Connecticut. Theroux taught Religious Studies at Saint Michael鈥檚 from 2008 until his retirement from teaching in 2024. 听
