Within the new Performing Arts major, students will have the choice of three concentrations or tracks:
- Theater
- Music
- Musical Theater
The addition of Musical Theater will provide valuable performance opportunities for both theatre and music students with the addition of an annual staging of a musical.
New program beginning Fall 2026
Saint Michael鈥檚 College is updating its academic offerings to better align with evolving workforce needs and to聽enhance resource efficiency at St. Mike鈥檚.聽These changes聽will聽strengthen聽the聽interdisciplinary learning聽and聽societal engagement聽already inherent in聽a Saint聽Michael鈥檚 education聽while staying true to our liberal arts聽vision and聽mission.In Fall 2026, this major combine and replace the exising programs Theatre and Music for incoming students. More information about the curriculum will be shared soon.
