Saint Michael’s College students inducted into honor societies in spring 2024

Each spring, Saint Michael’s students who excel academically are chosen to be inducted into national and international academic honor societies that have chapters on campus. Ìý

In addition to several honor societies that draw from the general student population, there are about a dozen honor societies that are specific to academic disciplines and draw from students in related majors and minors. Ìý

The students inducted into honor societies during the spring semester of 2024 are listed below. Ìý

Beta Beta Beta Ìý

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. Students may be inducted into TriBeta as early as their sophomore year if they have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average in their biological coursework and are active participants in TriBeta events.Ìý

Chi Alpha SigmaÌý

Chi Alpha Sigma is the National College Athlete Honor Society. It recognizes distinguished student scholars who also participate in varsity collegiate athletics. Membership requires junior or senior standing, participation in a varsity program, and a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 or higher.Ìý
